Syros, Greece (80 images)

The island of Syros in the Cyclades is home to the capital of the island group, Ermoupoli. It's a large town compared to the other places we traveled in the islands. The streets are paved with marble and one hill has the Catholic Cathedral the other the Orthodox. One of the neatest and largest town squares in all the islands is by city hall.

Ermopouli was the final island stop before heading back to Athens and home.
