Founded on six acres in Plymouth in 1938, the Amador County Fair celebrates 75 years and is rated as the Best County Fair in California and The West. Day one events include the Kids' Parade on Main Street, Ribbon Cutting, Mutton Bustin' preliminaries, and the Miss Amador Scholarship Pageant.

Day two events include the running of the sawmill, junior sheep showmanship, local cattle show, wine tasting and the truck/tractor pull along with the carnival & tractor parade.
