On August 25th Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Serbian Orthodox Church in Fair Oaks celebrated its Slava, But, there was more! A baptism started the day and Divine Liturgy was conducted by His Grace, Bishop Maxum, of Western America diocese.
The celebration included the traditional blessing and cutting of the Kolac by the bishop and patrons of the event.
