Shooting the West, Nevada's premier photographic symposium and workshop program just completed it's 26th successful run. Featured this year included your truly Larry Angier (and DJI quadcopter drone), Tom Bol, Mark Citret, Craig Moore, Kaitlin Godbey, Chris Rose, M.D. Welch, Mark Turney, Andrew Farewell, Gordon Allen with Duane McGarva as MC. Introducing the chautauqua presenter, Juanita Westbrook as Aviatrix Bessie Coleman on Friday night was her honor Di An Putman, Mayor of Winnemucca. C.J. Hadley, Marilyn Newton, Linda Dufurrena presented the winners of the 2014 RANGEW Outback photo contest. Monica Miller did the Give it Your Best Shot and of course behind the scenes, Brenda Heintz and Ro Rothwell kept it all under control with the Shooting the West Committe and countless volunteers.
Presenters came from both coasts and from border to border as did many of the participants. Well worth the effort to get to Winnemucca each spring!
