Death Valley is the Continental United State's largest National Park and contains the lowest spot in the western hemisphere at Badwater, -282 feet (about -100m) below sea level. The valley is bordered on the west by Telescpe Peak at 11,000+ feet and the Funeral Range on the east. There are dunes, mud hills, wildflowers, and more within the park. It is famous for the 20 Mule Team Borax wagons that once hauled this rare mineral from Death Valley in the late 1800s.
