The small island of Folegandros, Greece, is located in the southern Cyclades Islands, about 120 miles (193 km) southeast of Athens. There are three main villages including the Chora (Folegandros), Pano Meria and the port of Karavostasis. There are about 700 who call the island home.
Access to Folegandros is by ferry boat from nearby islands of the Cyclades group. Folegandros still retains a rural feel compared to the nearby islands of Santorini and Ios.
