Randsburg is a ghost town in eastern Kern County in California's High Desert and dates back to 1895 when gold was discovered. It was named after the South Africa gold region. Today, it's a sleepy little "ghost town" where off roaders and desert explorers stop for refreshment while out enjoying the desert. There are tons of neat outhouses all over town, too!
