Archaeology evidence has found burials dating from the 5th century BC...In the 12th century, St. Sava, founder of the Serbian Orthodox Church was baptized here. The Church of Peter is probably oldest church in Serbia. It is located in Stari Ras near the city of Novi Pazar, Serbia.
