Hawthorne Fin Field along U.S. Highway 95 is about 100 bomb fins painted in red, white and blue and assembled in 2003 to honor the men and women of America's Armed Forces. The fins were surplus from the Hawthore Army Depot, the largest ammo dump in the world.
