  • The Finfield at the  north end of Hawthorne along US 95 is a tribute to all armed services personel who have served the U.S. along with all the people who have worked or supplied the Hawthorne Army Depot (HWAD) throughout its history. There are 120 red, white, and blue painted bomb fins placed there by workers from HWAD in May 2003.
